Katrina started dancing ballet when she was only two years old and was “chosen” as a dance assistant in the 3rd grade. Katrina taught ballet and modern dancing all the way through high school.
After graduation, Katrina moved to the city and was trained in ballroom dance and started teaching at a local studio where she taught for 10 years. During this time, Katrina was given the opportunity to coach students who were preparing for competitions and also participated in a summer dance program with Alvin Ailey.
After leaving her job as a ballroom dance instructor, Katrina joined the world of competitive Irish Step Dancing where she competed and taught for 12 years.
Katrina has returned to her love, Ballroom Dancing, with Social Graces Ballroom Dance Studio in the fall of 2015.
